The Combination Lab 1899 is recommended for the identification of a wide range of alloys and coatings. This comprehensive tester will enable you to identify steels, stainless, nickel alloys, aluminums, plated coatings and brasses and bronzes. All the materials needed, including a full set of metal standards coupons, are conveniently packaged in a handsome lightweight carrying case. Metals can be identified wherever they are: out in the field, plant, warehouse, lab, or production line.
The Koslow ElectroSpot method is nondestructive and allows you to test your alloys in place...no need to cut off a sample or take filings. The Lab 1899 comes with the ElectroSpot II current source - a unique 9v battery-powered device with an Auto-Timer which makes color spot testing easier and more accurate than ever before. TheAuto-Timer is available only from Koslow Scientific.

No special training is necessary to get quick and reliable results all the time. Refills are always available, as you need them. It is no wonder that the Combination Lab 1899 has been used throughout industry and the military for over 40 years and that many of the largest corporations specify Koslow testers in their vendor contracts. They know that they'll always get reliable results. The Metal Standards Collection 1900 is now a standard feature of the Lab 1899. It consists of 24 assorted metal coupons which are used as convenient reference guides for spot testing
